About The Position

The Military Admissions Representative builds and maintains positive relationships within the military community and serves as a trusted educational resource for active-duty service members, veterans, and their dependents. This role presents clear and motivating information about Lincoln Technical Institute's programs, career pathways, and employment outcomes. The incumbent conducts educational and career planning sessions and supports prospective students through the admissions and enrollment process while adhering to the Admissions Code of Ethics, DoW requirements, accreditation standards, and all applicable state and federal regulations. The Representative addresses admissions-related inquiries and provides ongoing support from initial contact through program completion to promote retention and career readiness.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Sales, recruiting, or public speaking experience
  • Military experience or direct experience working with military populations

Responsibilities

  • Establish professional relationships with military leaders, education offices, and transition personnel to secure opportunities to present career and training information.
  • Provide accurate information regarding program offerings, entrance requirements, curricula, academic standards, veteran benefits, and SkillBridge opportunities.
  • Conduct educational and career planning sessions: A minimum of six (6) appointments scheduled weekly based on inquiries and referrals.
  • Comply with all governmental regulations, accreditation standards, Admissions Department policies, and the Code of Ethics.
  • Use only approved presentation and recruiting materials.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reports and documentation.
  • Conduct regular visits to military installations: A minimum of three (3) base visits and presentations per week, or as appropriate based on data and budget.
  • Generate and manage representative-generated leads: A minimum of three (3) to five (5) new contacts per week.
  • Conduct interviews and enrollment activities.
  • Assist candidates with completing required documentation and pre-start requirements.
  • Maintain supportive contact with enrolled students, with at least two (2) check-ins during the program.
  • Support SkillBridge initiatives in compliance with DoW guidelines, maintaining at least one (1) qualified candidate per program.
  • Attend military functions and outreach events as required.
