Come save lives. Come grow with us. Milieu Coordinator What you’ll be doing: The Milieu Coordinator (MC I, MC II) facilitates therapeutic groups based on core curriculum. Provides meal monitoring and meal support. Offers milieu support, de-escalation and behavior coaching to patients in Inpatient/Residential and Partial Hospitalization programs. The MC may be required to work on-call shifts based on business needs, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local labor laws.

Requirements

  • Milieu Coordinator I (MC I) must haves:
  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field (Required)
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in behavioral health or related field (Required)
  • Milieu Coordinator II (MC II) must haves:
  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field (Required)
  • Minimum 18 months of experience in a behavioral health or related field (Required-waived with relevant master's degree)

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate degree in mental health or related degree program (Preferred)
  • Intern or associate license from appropriate state licensing board (Preferred)
  • 1+ year facilitating groups (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates curriculum-based groups
  • Provides meal monitoring and support
  • Documentation of groups, meals and patient check-ins and observations
  • Provides support to Milieu including the following:
  • De-escalation and crisis management
  • Bathroom monitoring
  • Monitoring outside breaks
  • Conducts self-harm and suicide assessment
  • Support morning routine in IP/Res programs
  • Collect weights, vitals and urine in some settings
  • Implements individual behavior management plans for some patients and serves as clinical lead for the program in standalone programs in evenings and weekends. Will lead more advanced groups (MC II)
