About The Position

Milgard Windows and Doors is conducting a Walk in Open Hiring Event, here in Tualatin, Oregon. Come see us at 20789 SW 115th Ave, Tualatin, OR 97062, on Wednesday, May 7th from 10:00 a.m. to Noon and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Day shift is Monday through Friday starting at 5:00 a.m. The hourly rate is $22.00 per hour. Swing Shift is Monday through Friday starting at 3:30 p.m. The hourly rate is $22.00, plus a $2.00 shift differential. We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Production Assemblers to join our growing team in various departments. You will play a crucial role in the manufacturing of high-quality windows and doors. You will be responsible for assembling various components, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is a plus but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints (training provided).
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assemble vinyl window and door components according to work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
• Operate hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, screw guns) to cut, fasten, and assemble parts.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
