MILDEC Planner
About The Position
COLSA is seeking a senior level MILDEC Planner to conduct direct liaison, integration and synchronization with Combatant Command (CCMD) staff, subordinate units, and associated joint, interagency, intergovernmental and multi-national (JIIM) partners. MILDEC Planner is expected to provide advice and analytical support for MILDEC operations, planning, and organizational assessment efforts. The MILDEC Planner will also provide advice to DoD leadership of MILDEC policy, doctrine, decisions, trends concepts, and studies. Responsibilities
- Provide advice and analytical support for MILDEC operations, planning, and organizational assessment efforts.
- Provide strategic and operational level planning support pertaining to CCMD contingency operations and strategic operations
- Provide advice to DoD leadership of MILDEC policy, doctrine, decisions, trends concepts, and studies.
- Provide senior staff advice and guidance regarding the establishment, management, and execution-level analysis for risk management relating to MILDEC operations.
- Support day-to-day office activities such as organizing and facilitating meetings, and managing systems/taskers.
- Analyze strategies, policies, doctrine, plans, capability gaps, and emerging trends to support decision-making related to the current and potential future threat environment.
- Coordinate and integrate CCMD plans with supporting/supported interagency partners.
- Provide advice on prioritization of strategy related programs.
