About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mild to Moderate Support Needs Education Specialists to join our candidate pool for upcoming middle and high school opportunities within our district. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who require targeted academic and behavioral support and a strong commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. As positions become available, selected candidates may be contacted to provide individualized and small-group instruction, implement standards-based curriculum with appropriate accommodations and modifications, and support students in achieving their IEP goals. Requirements
- Possession of a valid California Education Specialist Instruction credential in the subject matter of posting (Authorization in Mild to Moderate Support Needs highly desireable)
- English Learners Authorization
- Letter of Introduction (Must be current and relative to the position you are applying to)
- Resume
- Credentials/Certificates (Include all required credentials and certifications. Copies of CTC credentials must be current screenshot(s) of the credential document details page f rom the CTC website that shows your name, document name, status, subjects, authorizations, and expiration date.) Certificates will not be accepted.
- Copy of Transcript (Please include BA/BS transcript along with all post-Bachelor's degree transcripts showing degrees awarded. Unofficial copies will be accepted)
- Recommendation Letters (Three (3) current letters dated within the last two (2) years)
