Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in consultative or solution sales, with a proven record of driving new business acquisition and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Strong prospecting and negotiation skills, with the ability to challenge customer assumptions and reframe their needs to drive action.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with C-level and program decision-makers.
  • Proficiency with digital learning platforms and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
  • Some college coursework completed.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% for key customer meetings, events, or trade shows.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree or higher.
  • Experience in the Beauty & Wellness or Postsecondary Education industries.
  • Familiarity with education funding cycles and digital learning trends.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and convert new schools from competitors through insight-driven conversations that inspire change and position Milady as the preferred partner.
  • Develop and implement a territory strategy focused on new logo acquisition and digital platform expansion.
  • Leverage data and market insights to tailor solutions aligned with customer goals and student outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and implementation teams to design customer engagement strategies that drive adoption and retention.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed territory revenue and growth targets.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by deeply understanding customer business objectives, student outcomes, and operational challenges.
  • Guide customers through digital onboarding, adoption, and expansion to ensure measurable success.
  • Proactively identify at-risk accounts and implement retention and renewal strategies.
  • Partner with the Implementation & Training team to ensure seamless transitions and maximize digital engagement.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, opportunity tracking, and forecasting accuracy within Salesforce.
  • Provide regular insights on pipeline health, conversion metrics, and competitive intelligence.
  • Represent Milady at industry events, trade shows, and virtual engagements to generate leads and strengthen relationships.
