The Warehouse Associate at Mighty assists in the daily operations of the warehouse department. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to push, pull, lift, and bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, and turn head-neck-shoulders as needed.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Must be forklift certified or willing to renew or obtain forklift certification within 15 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous forklift experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in the automotive parts industry preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pull customer orders.
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
  • Perform perpetual inventory counts and bin checks.
  • Report any discrepancies.
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Stock shelves as inventory arrives.
  • Maintain warehouse organization.
  • Professional communication with customers.
  • Ability to write customer returns accurately.
  • Must be able to handle hazardous materials.
  • Maintains professional appearance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
