About The Position

The MIG Welder position at Kelly Services involves performing MIG welding processes on mild steel for a leading Powersports Manufacturer in Madison, AL. The role requires adherence to quality standards and safety guidelines while working in a dynamic production environment. Welders will be responsible for various welding tasks, quality testing, and documentation, contributing to the production of RANGER or Slingshot vehicles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One plus years of industry/MIG Welding experience.
• Ability to lift to 40 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, turn, kneel, and squat with repetitive use of upper extremities.
• Work safely around moving equipment, power tools, and industrial vehicles.
• Ability to read and understand routings, work orders and production reports necessary.
• Will be required to wear the proper safety equipment and follow all safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform the MIG welding process on mild steel on assembly line or work cell as required to meet all quality standards and specifications.
• Perform Weld Tasks to Standards.
• Perform Arc and MIG welding on steel materials for RANGER or Slingshot production.
• Ability to be trained on specific weld process standards and arc monitor systems.
• Perform welding tasks based on production schedules.
• Perform quality testing and documentation as required.
• Focus on Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery.
