About The Position
Join our team and help build something great. We’re looking for reliable and skilled MIG Welders to join our production team at Raycap. In this role, you’ll be responsible for welding components with precision and efficiency, ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. Shift: 10 hours - Monday - Friday w/ overtime as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months minimum experience welding in a work or school environment
- Proficient in GMAW and FCAW for mild steel
- Read and understand WPS (welding procedure specification)
- Read a tape measure and interpret fractions
- Use basic hand tools (grinders, hammer, level, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Complete welding of pre-fabricated assemblies
- Visually inspect completed welds for size and quality
- Participate in shop cleanup activities
- Use job routers to log time
- Work safely
- Assist coworkers with other tasks as assigned
- Operate within the requirements of an ISO 9001 Quality System
