About The Position

American Display & Fixture (ADF) is seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating MIG welding equipment to fabricate high-quality metal displays and fixtures according to design specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a MIG Welder in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and blueprints
Knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Understanding of workplace safety standards and willingness to follow procedures
Flexibility to work overtime or weekends when required

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan welding layout and procedures
Set up components for welding according to specifications
Operate angle grinders and other tools to prepare parts for welding
Align components using calipers, rulers, and clamps
Perform MIG welding in various positions (vertical, horizontal, and overhead)
Inspect welds and finished structures to ensure quality and accuracy
Maintain welding equipment in proper working condition
Follow all safety, environmental, and company guidelines
Communicate issues, defects, or inconsistencies to the supervisor promptly
Assist with general production tasks as needed
Perform other related duties assigned by supervisor or management to support team goals and production efficiency
