About The Position

Randstad Staffing is seeking a MIG Welder/Fitter for a permanent position with a leading playground manufacturing company in Delano, Minnesota. The role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, operating welding equipment, and ensuring the quality of metal products according to specifications. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of professional welding experience required.
• Welding experience with aluminum required.
• Welding experience with stainless steel preferred.
• Post-secondary certificate or vocational training preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Successfully pass internal AWS weld test.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with MIG, TIG, Spot, Fit, and Stick welding.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret diagrams, sketches, and blueprints to produce metal products according to specifications.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
• Assemble components in jigs or fixtures.
• Align parts or workpieces to ensure proper assembly.
• Operate welding equipment in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead).
• Clean excess weld, slag, and spatter.
• Verify conformance of completed parts to specifications.
