About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced MIG/Flux-Core Welders for projects located in and around Oak Creek, WI. This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of $30-32/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a MIG/Flux-Core Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! Job Scope: Building large overhead cranes Open table fabrication Welding AWS D1.1 materials (¼" - 5/16", mainly ¼") Weld in all positions (must be able to weld vertical)
Requirements
- Experienced MIG/Flux-Core welder
- Must pass AWS D1.1 weld test
- Must have strong blueprint reading
- Must have large-scale open-table fabrication experience
- Must have steel fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have basic tools and standard PPE
- Must be able to: Select own materials Operate forklift Read blueprints Use fabrication tools: drill press, brake press, hand plasma, other fabrication machines
