About The Position

The Midstream Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of midstream facilities including gas plants, compressor stations, and pipeline systems. This role supports the transportation, processing, and storage of oil and gas products while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in midstream operations, gas plant operations, or compressor stations preferred
• Working knowledge of oil and gas processes and equipment
• Experience with SCADA systems and field instrumentation
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment
• Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor midstream equipment and processes to maintain safe and efficient operations
• Control and adjust system pressures, flow rates, and temperatures as needed
• Monitor facility performance using SCADA systems (e.g., Wonderware) and field instrumentation
• Conduct routine inspections, readings, and documentation of equipment and processes
• Start up, shut down, and troubleshoot plant or station equipment
• Identify and respond to alarms, upsets, and abnormal operating conditions
• Perform basic maintenance and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations
• Participate in daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and reporting requirements
