The Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) is seeking to hire qualified candidates for the position of INFORMATION SERV SPECIALIST I. This role serves as a Midrange Unix/Linux Specialist, where you will work with experienced systems analysts in performing Midrange Linux/Unix computing applications and systems administration support. You will assist in the configuration, testing, installation, and maintenance of midrange Linux/Unix computer systems and related peripheral components. The position involves installation and maintenance of Linux/Unix server operating systems and server hardware installations and configurations, following established procedures. You will also work on assigned projects utilizing various hardware and software systems, keeping abreast of new developments in the information technology field through continued education and training.
