About The Position

Assisting Hands – South Jacksonville is looking for dedicated caregivers to provide 1:1 care in client homes. The role involves assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), transfers, mobility assistance, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation. Caregivers will have predictable routes and flexible scheduling options, making it easier to balance work and personal life.

Requirements

• Florida CNA license or HHA certificate
• Current CPR certification (In-Person course)
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance; reliable vehicle
• Completion of Florida State Courses (HIV/AIDS, Alzheimers and Dementia, Assist. with Self Admin. of Med.)

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care to clients
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Help with transfers and mobility assistance
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Offer companionship and transportation services
