Middle School Weights Instructor
About The Position
The Lathrop R-II School District is seeking certified applicants for a Middle School Weight Room instructor for grades 7th and 8th for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. Qualified candidates will be responsible for carrying out effective instruction, evaluating student progress, and maintaining classroom management to ensure student engagement, learning, and safety. Knowledge of the Rack system is preferred. The teaching assignment is 5 sections of Weights and 1 section of Heath. The Lathrop R-II School District is a rural K-12 school district, in Lathrop, MO, with competitive salary and benefits. 2026 base salary is $44,000. Lathrop R-II School District is on a 4 day school week (Tuesday through Friday). One Monday per month the certified staff meets for professional development. Lathrop is located 3 miles west of I-35 in northwest Missouri, 15 minutes north of Kearney and 25 minutes north from the Liberty/Kansas City area. To apply, please go to lathropschools.com .
