About The Position

Christ Prince of Peace Catholic Church is seeking a faith-filled, knowledgeable, and dedicated Middle School Teacher to inspire and challenge students in grades 6–8 within a Christ-centered learning community. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with adolescents and committed to fostering academic excellence, spiritual growth, and strong moral character.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Valid Missouri teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
• Practicing Catholic preferred; all candidates must respect and support the mission of the Catholic Church
• Previous middle school teaching experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, standards‑based lessons for middle school students
• Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily instruction and classroom interactions
• Create a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment
• Differentiate instruction to meet the academic and developmental needs of diverse learners
• Assess student learning and provide timely feedback to students and families
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, administration, and support staff
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress
• Participate in school liturgies, meetings, professional development, and school events
• Support the overall mission and philosophy of Christ Prince of Peace Catholic Church
