About The Position

This full-time teaching position for 2025-26 and beyond will be part of a collaborative team committed to achieving the goals of education through faith-filled learning experiences. The teacher for this position provides an experienced and dynamic learning environment focused on excellence in academics, and partners with parents, staff, and other volunteers to create a loving community that reflects the values of our Catholic faith. Immaculate Conception School is a preschool-grade 8 school serving students in Columbia Heights and the surrounding communities. We are celebrating our 87th year with a focus on Faith, Academics and Service. We have a tradition of high academic excellence and a commitment to share our school's mission by reaching out in service to the community.

Requirements

• A BA or BS Degree and a current MN Teaching License are required to correspond with the courses taught.
• Middle School Licensure and/or experience teaching Middle School Science.
• Demonstrate evidence of strong and effective classroom management techniques, specifically with middle school students.
• Ability to adapt to new programs/processes.
• Desire to work within a team and ability to maintain a positive atmosphere with colleagues.
• Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely fashion with school, students, staff, and parents.
• Experience with technology in the classroom, including interactive projector, Google Suite, Macbook, Chromebooks, etc.
