About The Position

Our Lady of Grace Catholic School is seeking a full-time middle school English/Language Arts teacher for the 2025-26 school year. The teacher will be responsible for teaching 8th grade literature and writing (taught as separate courses). We are looking for a joyful teacher who is an excellent classroom manager, able to communicate effectively with parents, able to motivate students for academic excellence, willing to join a dynamic faculty team committed to helping each student flourish, and most importantly a person who shares our enthusiasm for living out the mission of our parish which is to make Jesus Christ known and loved.

Requirements

• Minnesota teaching license with additional licensure in English/Language Arts preferred.
• Understanding of best practices in ELA instruction.
• Experience in teaching high achieving students.
• Positive disposition and enjoyment in teaching middle school children.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Complete background check, code of conduct, and VIRTUS training.
• Experience educating middle school-aged children.
