Position Overview: Manage a caseload of 7th and 8th-grade students, ensuring all Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals are tracked, progress reports are completed, and annual meetings are facilitated with accuracy. Lead co-taught ELA classes and provide "push-in" inclusion support to ensure students with mild to moderate disabilities can access the general education curriculum. Design and deliver specialized intervention classes tailored to bridge achievement gaps and meet the specific learning needs of middle school students. Partner with general education teachers to modify assignments, implement accommodations, and foster an inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
  • Active Massachusetts licensure in Special Education: Teacher of Students with Mild/Moderate Disabilities (K-8 or 5-12)

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree (Preferred)
  • Proven expertise or dual certification in English Language Arts (ELA) is highly desirable
