Responsibilities & Duties Prepare and conduct team practices, training, and competition. Supervise student athletes at before, during and after practices and competitions, including during transportation to and from contests until all athletes are with parents/guardians. Possess knowledge of sport, skills and techniques from fundamentals to game planning and strategies appropriate to the level of competition. Possess knowledge of rules of sport and ability to relay and enforce those rules to student athletes. Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and possesses the ability to work with student athletes and communicate with parents. Create a physically and emotionally safe environment for student athletes. Model and teach ethical behavior. Ability to perform assigned duties. Knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.
