Position Overview: Develop and execute standards-aligned unit and daily lesson plans tailored to the academic needs and developmental interests of 8th-grade Science students. Identify individual learning gaps, utilizing diagnostic assessment tools regularly, and implement targeted interventions or acceleration strategies to achieve instructional goals to drive significant academic gains and ensure every student reaches mastery. Foster a classroom culture that reflects a commitment to academic excellence and student leadership, using a diverse range of instructional techniques to engage all learning styles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
• Valid Tennessee Teaching License with the appropriate subject area endorsement (Required)
• 2+ years of teaching experience, particularly within an urban or charter school setting (Highly Preferred)
