About The Position
The Middle School Science Teacher at West Middle School is responsible for providing an effective program of instruction tailored to the needs and capabilities of students. The position requires building instruction upon previously learned materials and utilizing a variety of teaching materials and techniques appropriate for the content area and all students. The teacher will assess student needs and progress regularly, adapt teaching methods as necessary, and maintain a conducive learning environment. The role also involves collaboration with staff in planning curriculum and instructional goals, attending staff meetings, and maintaining communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
