About The Position
This position has a focus on Reading Intervention. The role involves administering, scoring, and recording achievement and diagnostic tests as recommended by the teacher for individual students. The individual will work with students or small groups to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher. Additionally, the position requires assisting the teacher in devising special strategies for reinforcing material or skills based on a sympathetic understanding of individual students, their needs, interests, and abilities.
