About The Position

As a Middle School Math Teacher, you will deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction that builds conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and confidence in problem-solving. You will create a classroom that is predictable, engaging, and intellectually alive, where Scholars are supported to take risks, persist through challenge, and grow as mathematicians and community members. This role is ideal for an educator who values structure, reflection, and collaboration and who understands the unique developmental needs of middle school learners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
  • Valid Wisconsin teaching license or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience teaching mathematics at the middle school level
  • Strong classroom management and instructional skills
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Education or a related field
  • Experience in a charter school or urban education setting
  • Strong data-informed instructional practices
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with Scholars and families

Responsibilities

  • Teach engaging, standards-aligned middle school mathematics lessons

  • Use data and assessments to inform instruction and support Scholar growth
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
