About The Position

We are hiring in-person Math tutors to support middle school students. Tutors will provide instruction for 6th Grade STH Math, and the others will support Math for Grades 7–8. The program runs Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm for 6th grade support. 7th and 8th grade support runs Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:10 am to 2:30 pm.

Requirements

• Passion for Learning: Committed to supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved and bilingual students.
• Strong Academics: Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Committed and Flexible: Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school and participate in monthly training.
• Collaborative Spirit: Ready to work closely with teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors to maximize student success.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects like Math, Reading, Writing, Literacy and exam prep.
• Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to develop engaging, personalized learning strategies that help students thrive
• Bridge language gaps to ensure every student has the support they need.
