About The Position

St. Theresa Catholic School is accepting applications for the 2025-2026 School Year for the position of Full-Time Middle School Language Arts Teacher. Reports to: Principal Responsibilities: Provide for the spiritual, moral, physical, emotional, and intellectual development of the children of St. Theresa Catholic School (STCS) through the teaching of Language Arts. Help live, instill, and motivate the Virtues and Mission of STCS. Maintain professional, charitable, cooperative and respectful relationships with all members of the STCS community. Serve as a homeroom teacher to include supervising during Mass and assemblies. Establish and maintain effective discipline. Be well-prepared for all assigned teaching duties. Carry out duties in a responsible manner regarding curriculum, co-curricular activities, safety, and other assigned tasks. Use technology and incorporate it in teaching and related duties.

Requirements

• Be deeply committed to the development of the faith life of students and dedicated to the ministry of Catholic Education.
• Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure - English/Language Arts endorsement OR hold a VCEA license.

Nice To Haves

• 3 Years’ experience is preferred.
