We are seeking a part time passionate and dedicated Middle School Girl's Head Basketball Coach who loves the Lord and desire to serve in a Christian school environment. Our greatest accomplishment and hope as teachers and coaches is that every child will know they are special and created in God's image. Position Overview : The Middle School Girl's Head Basketball Coach will work closely with the head coach to support and develop the varsity-level middle school basketball team, fostering both athletic and Christ-centered character. This role assists in skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship, while encouraging student-athletes to pursue excellence on and off the court.

Requirements

• Prior basketball coaching or playing experience preferred.
• Ability to positively lead middle school athletes in a disciplined and encouraging manner.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Shoreline Christian School.
• Must pass a background check.
• Demonstrated Christian commitment and relationship with Jesus Christ and being active in a local church.

Responsibilities

• Head coach will plan and lead practices, games, and team activities.
• Help teach basketball fundamentals, techniques, and strategies appropriate for middle school athletes.
• Head coach will model Christian values to players, parents, and the community.
• Head coach will communicate between athletes, parents, and school administration .
• Help ensure adherence to Shoreline Christian School and Cascade Middle School League (CMSL) rules.
• Assist with care and management of team equipment and uniforms.
