About The Position

Nampa Christian Schools, through a Christ-centered partnership with families and Churches, exists to glorify God with our HEART, HEAD, and HANDS. Nampa Christian School seeks a dedicated and compassionate certified teacher to teach Middle School Fine Arts courses. This position focuses on developing students’ knowledge and love for the arts. This could include any combination of Music Appreciation/Music Theory, Choir, Band, and/or Theater. This teaching position will report to the Middle School Principal. This is a contracted, exempt, salaried position for the school year (August-May). Commensurate with experience. Requirements

Hold a BA/BS/Undergraduate degree from an accredited post-secondary institution.
Prefer a current State of Idaho Teaching certificate, or willingness to pursue certification.
Hold a current ACSI certification or will commit to completing the requirements for certification within the first 90 days of employment.
Be highly qualified in teaching ability and able to instruct Middle School Fine Arts.
Committed Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ who models Christian Character and values in all interactions.
Demonstrates ability to teach and apply Biblical Worldview to integrate faith and learning
Prior experience working with youth.
Prior experience in teaching music/fine arts.
Supports the school's mission to develop students spiritually, academically, and socially
Possesses a professional demeanor, strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Willingness to participate in school chapel services and discipleship activities
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills
Able to effectively monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of student achievement
Maintains regular communication with parents regarding students
