About The Position
The Valley View Public School District is seeking an individual to fill a full-time ESL English Language Arts teaching position for the 2025-2026 school year. The teacher is responsible to the middle school building principals for: planning instructional lessons that meet the English literacy and common core academic needs of students in the bilingual/ESL classroom; creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning; and employing effective instructional techniques tailored to English learners. The middle school Bilingual/ESL teacher will teach using district adopted curriculum and researched based instructional practices including sheltered English instruction, cooperative learning, writing & workshop and instructional technology. Lessons and units will be constructed analyzing and responding to formative and summative assessment data.
