About The Position

Position Overview: Lead co-taught ELA classes and provide "push-in" inclusion support, utilizing Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to ensure all students access the general curriculum. Design and deliver specialized intervention classes tailored to bridge achievement gaps for middle school learners. Manage 7th and 8th-grade IEPs, ensuring goal tracking, progress reporting, and annual meetings are facilitated with accuracy. Partner with general education staff to modify assignments and implement accommodations that foster a truly inclusive environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
• Active Massachusetts Special Education License (Mild/Moderate Disabilities K-8 or 5-12)
• Proven expertise in ELA instruction or co-teaching models with a strong understanding of the IEP process and inclusive classroom management
