About The Position

Emmanuel Christian School is seeking a Middle School English Language Arts Teacher and History teacher who is passionate about literacy/history, critical thinking, and shaping students who communicate with clarity and purpose. This role serves grades 6–8 and emphasizes strong reading, writing, discussion, and grammar skills through a Christ-centered lens. The ideal candidate brings experience, energy, and a love for middle school learners. The Classroom Teacher provides high-quality, Christ-centered instruction that supports students’ academic growth and spiritual formation. Teachers at ECS integrate biblical worldview into their subject area, foster a culture of respect and responsibility, and partner with families to support student development. This role is foundational in shaping students intellectually, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (or relevant experience as determined by administration).
Agreement with and commitment to the mission, vision, and doctrinal statement of Emmanuel Christian School.
