About The Position

Hamilton Middle School is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our concessions staff. This role is essential in providing a positive experience for students, parents, and visitors during school events. The ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment while assisting with the sale of snacks and beverages.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends during school events.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to pass a fingerprint-based background check per school board policy.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the concessions area throughout events.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests and addressing their needs.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during events.
