About The Position

The Waterford Public Schools seeks an experienced, dynamic, inspirational, student-centered leader to serve in the position of Assistant Principal at Clark Lane Middle School. Waterford Public Schools serve approximately 2,400 students in PK-12. The District includes three elementary, one middle and one high school. According to the State of Connecticut Next Generation Performance Accountability System, Waterford Public Schools ranks in the top 25% of K-12 school districts in the state. The Clark Lane Middle School Assistant Principal is a part of an administrative team made up of a Principal and an Assistant Principal. The successful candidate is expected to have secondary teaching experience, knowledge of middle school organizational philosophy and evidence of successful school-based leadership experience. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Education
  • Connecticut Intermediate Administration Certification (Endorsement 092)
  • Minimum of five years teaching experience and/or administration experience
