About The Position

The Middle Grades Math Teacher position requires candidates to hold a valid middle grades math licensure. Candidates who are not licensed but are eligible for residency licensure may apply if they possess a Bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 2.7 and have completed at least 24 semester hours of related courses in mathematics or have passed the PRAXIS II exam in Middle School Mathematics. Related courses include Math and Math Education. It is important to note that eligibility for the residency license must be established before a contract offer is made.

Requirements

• Candidates must hold and be HQ in the middle grades math (78200) license area.
• Non-licensed candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2.7 GPA and 24 semester hours of related courses in math.
• Candidates must have passing PRAXIS II scores in Middle School Mathematics.
