About The Position

As The International School of Texas (IST) continues to grow, we announce our search for a full-time educator to teach Middle and High School Spanish , beginning in August 2026. This position’s primary responsibility will be to teach students in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (IBMYP), Grades 6-10. This position will join a team of highly qualified, motivated, and professional educators in our Secondary Division. In addition to teaching responsibilities, IST faculty have the opportunity to lead a variety of extracurricular and club activities that enrich the IST experience. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field. Master’s Degree preferred and increased stipend rewarded. Two or more years of Middle School teaching experience. Pedagogical best practices integrated with SEL/Mindfulness. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Requirements

The successful candidate must have experience teaching Spanish language to Middle and High School level.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field.
Two or more years of Middle School teaching experience.
Pedagogical best practices integrated with SEL/Mindfulness.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
