About The Position

As a Tutor, you will provide one -on -one math support to middle school and high school students, helping them strengthen core skills, improve grades, and build confidence. Sessions are typically 45–60 minutes and may be delivered in -person within Marin County or online.

Requirements

• Strong math skills through Algebra II (college -level math a plus)
• Experience tutoring or teaching middle/high school students (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred, not required)
• Clear communication skills, reliability, and patience
• Ability to explain math concepts in multiple ways to meet diverse learner needs

Responsibilities

• Tutor middle and high school students in pre -algebra, algebra, geometry, and algebra II (advanced math a plus)
• Adapt instruction to different learning styles and needs
• Support students with homework, test prep, and long -term skill development
• Track student progress and communicate results to parents and our support team
• Participate in occasional training and coaching to sharpen your skills
