About The Position

We're a fast-growing Series A startup backed by $34M in funding and driven by a team that moves fast, stays curious, and cares about high-quality execution. We’re looking for a Developer with 2–3 years of experience who is ready to work in an AI-assisted format: using AI tools to speed up development while maintaining quality through architecture, tests, code reviews, and proper validation. We’re in the middle of an engineering transformation—adopting modern practices, improving our delivery process, and scaling AI-assisted development in a responsible way. We have a strong base of real-world experience and proven approaches, and we’re building the next iteration of our engineering playbook. You’ll have room to learn, experiment, and help shape how we work—while staying grounded in quality, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements

2–3 years of commercial software development experience
Strong Python or JavaScript skills (backend)
Hands-on experience using AI tools for coding and understanding how to validate and safely ship AI-generated output
Database experience: SQL, PostgreSQL (ClickHouse is a plus)
Solid understanding of HTTP and integration patterns
SQL query optimization skills
Ability to work independently in situations with some uncertainty
Location: outside of Russia

Nice To Haves

Experience with profiling and performance tuning
Production experience with data pipelines/integrations
Familiarity with reliability practices: logging, monitoring, alerting

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services for a web application
Build integrations with external data sources/destinations (HTTP APIs)
Fix bugs, handle incidents, and work with technical debt
Optimize database queries and overall performance (identify and remove bottlenecks)
Participate in designing mid-sized features and collaborate with QA/Analysts
Perform code reviews and support junior developers
Move toward AI-assisted development (vibe coding): generate/refactor code, write tests and documentation with AI tools, with mandatory validation (testing, review, architectural consistency)
