Mid Shift Excavator Operator
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Operate excavators to load raw materials into portable crushing equipment Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation Assist with plant setup, relocation, and breakdown as needed Communicate with team members to maintain efficient material flow Follow all safety and environmental procedures on site; Mid Shift Hours: 11am - 9pm
Requirements
- Skilled in operating excavators and other heavy equipment in a production setting
- Strong commitment to safety and situational awareness
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mobile plant environment
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Flexibility to work mid-shift hours and adapt to changing work locations
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check
