About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Mid-Senior Plumbing Engineer skilled in Revit and CAD to join our Fort Lauderdale engineering team. The ideal candidate will have design experience in residential, commercial, and high-rise projects, delivering quality solutions on schedule while collaborating with architects, engineers, and clients. This is a leadership-track role, ideal for a self-motivated, results-driven engineer who aspires to lead and grow within the plumbing engineering department.
Requirements
- 5+ years of plumbing engineering design experience, preferably in residential and high-rise projects
- Proficiency in Revit, CAD, and MEP design software
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Plumbing Engineering
- Knowledge of U.S. plumbing codes and regulations
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Leadership abilities and willingness to mentor junior staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and high-rise buildings using Revit and CAD
- Prepare detailed construction documents, layouts, and specifications
- Conduct hydraulic calculations, system sizing, and design analysis
- Review and coordinate plumbing designs with mechanical, electrical, and architectural teams
- Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and regulations
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to address design issues
- Mentor junior engineers and Revit technicians
- Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Maintain accurate project documentation
- Implement quality control procedures for plumbing designs
- Stay updated with latest plumbing engineering trends, codes, and best practices
