About The Position

This position with Amentum supports the United States Central Command J2 Directorate through the SSO. Your security expertise will be vital to the operations and security of the command. You will witness the impact of your work through the completion of contractual deliverables to the customer. Responsibilities: The employee shall provide multi-discipline Security Specialists to provide support to the USCENTCOM Special Security Office (CCJ2-SSO) in managing the Command Information Security, Personnel Security, and Physical Security Programs. The employee shall brief and train proper command security practices for the Command Security Indoctrination briefings to promote Security Education, Training & Awareness (SETA). The employee shall update local security publications as required, consistent with DoD/DIA guidance. The employee shall provide input into CENTCOM history reports and maintain the SSO webpage. The employee shall inspect and draft written feedback in support of the Command Inspection Program. The employee shall coordinate, track, document, brief, train and issue courier authorization in support of the Courier Authorization Program. The employee shall coordinate with customers and Defense Courier Service staff for the delivery and pickup of classified material and provide SME guidance for forward deployed units.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI security clearance with eligibility to obtain a Polygraph
Five or more years of experience as a Security Professional or associate’s degree
Security Fundamentals Professional Certification
Expertise using JPAS, Scattered Castles, CATS, DISS
Background in Physical Security
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with CI Poly
Minimum Education: Associates or 5 years of experience
Minimum Years of Experience: 5
