We are seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer to apply a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to requirements and solutions engineering, systems integration, testing and evaluation, reliability and resiliency engineering, service development, scheduling, and maintainability analysis. This role supports mission-critical initiatives across the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and partnering Federal Agencies to ensure the delivery of timely, accurate, and high-quality GEOINT capabilities.   • Execute requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability and resiliency assessments, service development, systems integration, testing, evaluation, and maintainability analysis across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agency environments.
  • Lead and support planning activities, including requirements analysis and traceability, architecture alignment, and the evaluation of procedures, workflows, cloud services, and system performance constraints.
  • Develop solution designs informed by emerging technologies and requirements analysis, while providing mentorship and technical guidance to Junior Engineers.
  • Assist Government stakeholders in translating mission objectives and customer needs into clear system and capability requirements.
  • Support allocation and traceability of requirements to system architecture components and program execution activities.
  • Contribute to systems integration efforts, ensuring seamless alignment across platforms, services, and operational environments.
  • Participate in Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs), Courses of Action (CoAs), trade studies, and comprehensive engineering assessments.
  • Assist Government teams with strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk identification and mitigation, and interface design.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or 6 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in lieu of degree.
  • 6+ years of working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments.
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.
  • Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages.
  • Working knowledge of Software Development Frameworks.
  • INCOSE Associate System Engineering Professional (ASEP) certification.
  • Documented work experience in the field of geospatial intelligence.
  • Membership or active participation in any of the following professional organizations: ACSM ASCE ASPRS OGC SAREM USGIF
  • Working knowledge of photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.
