About The Position

Mid-Level System Design and Integration Specialist Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is looking for a Mid-Level System Design and Integration Specialist to join the team in Everett, WA; Renton, WA; North Charleston, SC; or Berkeley, MO. The selected candidate will support end-to-end lifecycle management of factory floor devices within designated production environments, ensuring seamless integration into the enterprise network fabric. Your responsibilities include conducting comprehensive asset discovery and inventory management of Operational Technology (OT) endpoints, and leveraging specialized databases to maintain accurate device registries. You will perform detailed network migration readiness assessments, evaluating each device’s operational and security posture to determine suitability for transition into enhanced security zones. You will architect and document access zone designs aligned with OT network segmentation best practices, supporting robust cybersecurity frameworks. Collaborating closely with production leadership and cross-functional teams, you will orchestrate device migration activities, coordinating support requests and minimizing operational disruptions. Post-migration, you will meticulously document device configurations and state changes to maintain an up-to-date operational baseline.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with comprehending and translating complex business requirements into an actionable solution that can be built and delivered by IT team
  • 3+ years of experience with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions
  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams and external customers
  • 1+ years of experience with network systems
  • 1+ years of experience with diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing IT systems related problems

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience with Network Design
  • Experience with Factory Operational Technology Systems

Responsibilities

  • Performs product and component management to ensure technical viability and cost-effectiveness from the point where it is evaluated through implementation and support, to retirement
  • Uses technical expertise to help business partners and others by answering technical questions regarding the usage, trouble-shooting and functionality of delivery systems products to ensure effective implementation and usage of delivery system products
  • Applies knowledge of computing systems to choose appropriate troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex, escalated delivery systems problems
  • Works with appropriate product supplier for enhancements and issues not resolved in-house
  • Chooses appropriate computing products and methods to ensure requirements are met for security, problem management, capacity/performance management and operational management
  • Documents resolutions/analyses according to support procedures
