About The Position

The Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently seeking an Mid-Level Support Engineering Data Specialist to join the Maintenance Engineering Team located in Ridley Park, Pa or at our Fort Walton Beach, FL location. Boeing Ridley Park is the home of the CH-47 Helicopter Helicopter Program while also supporting various other military platforms. Our team Interprets and analyzes engineering data, reliability and maintainability data, supply chain data, and customer operations and support concepts to develop support solutions and products including support analysis, provisioning solutions, spares solutions and maintenance, inspection, and support technical data. Provides recommendations on product supportability and establishes operation maintenance tasks and support resources. Develops support systems to achieve supportability requirements. Identifies and analyzes logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and reports. Determines spares provisioning requirements and establishes recommendation for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking. Writes and maintains technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting and maintaining aircraft systems and/or components. This role is responsible for system & model upkeep, development of new features, and program or operational analysis.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 5+ years in interpreting blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals and the use of military specifications.
  • Must be self-motivated and strive to continually develop skills and work with minimal direction.
  • Must be able to work in office environment and learn multiple computer applications and processes.
  • Must be able to work in team environment and communicate clearly with both internal and external customers.

Nice To Haves

  • IETM and/or Technical manual usage experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or typically 4 or more years related work experience or a combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • CH-47 or other military rotorcraft maintenance experience is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Performs logistics product support to ensure sustainment capability of products and services.
  • Provides logistics support influence on product designs.
  • Evaluates, validates, and implements engineering changes.
  • Provides logistics support input for proposal development.
  • Develop IETMS
  • Maintains logistics systems.
  • May be asked to support additional programs.
  • Works under general direction.
