About The Position

Support the execution of all software aspects of advanced avionics research and development systems. Work with program management and technical teams to integrate new capabilities, derive requirements, and develop program integrated roadmaps. Analyze manufacturers' proposals as permitted by law and regulation. Support program software effort with the coordination of technical program status and execution throughout the design, engineering, integration, test and program execution process with the manufacturer(s). Develop, execute, monitor, and report status on program efforts, including analysis of test data. Serve as the mid-level Software Engineer for program technical execution, coordination, and communication of concerns with program management and technical leadership. Coordinate with government leads, manufacturer leads, engineering leads, technical subject matter experts, and program manager involved in program planning and execution. Support and provide insight to determine the effectiveness of program execution and recommend modifications to processes for program activities.

Requirements

  • Security Clearance Required: A Final DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • Candidate must be willing to work on-site in Ridgecrest, CA.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in DoD military platforms/systems.
  • Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe products.
  • Candidate should have demonstrated good oral and written communication skills.
  • Candidate should have experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complex security environment.
