Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in embedded software development
  • Strong proficiency in C programming
  • Exposure to DO-178C processes or other regulated software environments
  • Ability to work independently and meet documentation standards
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with RTOS (e.g., VxWorks, QNX, Green Hills)
  • Familiarity with FAA/EASA certification standards
  • Knowledge of safety-critical or flight-critical systems

Responsibilities

  • Perform DO-178C documentation activities for embedded aerospace systems
  • Conduct C code reviews and requirements reviews
  • Ensure compliance with safety-critical standards through documentation audits and updates
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support certification efforts
