About The Position

We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer/Application Developer in Lexington Park, MD, to support the H-60 research, test, and development program. The job will support the developmental flight test program through program development and data extraction support. As a software engineer/developer, you will work individually or on a small team with flight test engineers.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have an active Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (additional experience accepted in lieu of degree)
• Minimum of 4 years of applicable experience, with at least 2 years of software development and/or object-oriented design and programming, ideally including design, coding, and testing experience.
• Experience with Web Services and JavaScript (e.g., ReactJS).
• Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, and/or C/C++

Nice To Haves

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Experience with DON related programs

Responsibilities

• Work with a team lead to define software requirements
• Design & develop system software for our customers
• Explore new areas or program in new languages to deliver a complete product
• Support on-site meetings and deliveries to customers
