As a Software Engineer, you'll develop real-time software on Linux using C++ and Java, diving deep into all phases of the development process, using the best available tools and modern architectures.   • Develop real-time software on Linux using C++ and Java.
  • Engage in all phases of the software development process.
  • Work with state-of-the-art technology to shape naval training systems.
  • Travel to strategic locations for project immersion.
  • B.S./B.A. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government granted security clearance.
  • 4+ years of C++ software development experience.
  • Strong Linux tools/library knowledge.
  • Solid grasp of software engineering principles.
  • Advanced degree or continuing education in computer science.
  • Background in advanced math or physics.
  • Experience in cluster computing, signal processing, Kubernetes, numerical simulation, multi-threading, GPUs, data visualization, underwater acoustic modeling, and sonar systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile development, Atlassian products, and DevSecOps methods/tools (Gitlab, Conan, Jenkins, Docker).
