About The Position

Tyto Athene is searching for a Mid-Level SIGINT/All-Source Intelligence Analyst to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), GEOINT Analysis Sq., Forces Characterization Flight (NASIC/GSIF). This position supports NASIC/GSIF mission objectives by applying structured analytic techniques to SIGINT and multi-source intelligence data. Working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment, the analyst contributes to the reconstruction and assessment of air and air defense activities by integrating diverse datasets, identifying patterns and anomalies, and producing clear, actionable intelligence products. This role requires a strong foundation in intelligence analysis, SIGINT in particular, familiarity with IC tools and data sources, and the ability to translate complex information into concise insights that support mission decision-making. If you’re an analyst who enjoys digging into complex data, working across disciplines, and producing analysis that directly supports the mission—and you’re comfortable tackling problems that don’t come with a clear playbook—this is a team where you can make an impact. Responsibilities This position supports mission execution by applying structured analytic techniques to SIGINT and multi-source datasets to develop meaningful insights into air and air defense activities. Day-to-day efforts focus on assisting in the reconstruction of military exercises and operational events, leveraging a combination of SIGINT, ELINT, GEOINT and other intelligence sources to build a coherent understanding of observed behaviors, patterns, and anomalies. In executing these efforts, the analyst works with a variety of Intelligence Community data repositories and tools to collect, process, and exploit relevant information. This includes organizing disparate datasets, conducting spatial and temporal analysis, and contributing to the development of analytic products that clearly communicate findings to mission stakeholders. The analyst is expected to translate complex data into concise written reports, briefings, and visualizations that align with established IC analytic standards. The role operates within a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment where SIGINT, GEOINT, and other domain experts work side-by-side on shared problem sets. The analyst contributes to this environment by coordinating with teammates, engaging with subject matter experts, and incorporating multiple perspectives into analytic assessments. Regular interaction with government stakeholders and participation in classified network environments (e.g., JWICS, SIPRNET) are integral to mission success. As part of the analytic process, the analyst assists in identifying information gaps and supports the development of collection requirements, working with available IC resources to ensure mission needs are met efficiently. The analyst is also expected to maintain awareness of evolving tools, data sources, and analytic methodologies, contributing to continuous improvement efforts and helping integrate new capabilities where appropriate. Throughout all efforts, the analyst adheres to established tradecraft standards, ensuring that all products meet expectations for accuracy, sourcing, objectivity, and clarity. This includes participating in peer review and quality assurance processes, as well as following appropriate SIGINT sanitization and dissemination procedures. Additionally, the analyst supports mission tracking and reporting requirements by contributing to production metrics and maintaining awareness of tasking priorities and timelines
