The ideal candidate will be responsible for day‑to-day operation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of our SailPoint IdentityNow tenant. The role focuses on maintaining platform availability, troubleshooting integrations and provisioning, supporting governance and audit requirements, and automating operational tasks.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with SailPoint IdentityNow (connector configuration, reconciliation, provisioning) and supporting on‑prem integrations (e.g., virtual appliances and IQServices)
  • Experience deploying and managing virtual appliance clusters (e.g., HA, scaling, patching, backups)
  • Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting IQServices and appliance‑based connectors
  • Experience troubleshooting skills for aggregation, provisioning, workflow failures, and appliance/IQServices connectivity issues
  • Experience with SCIM/REST integrations, API credential management, and secure handling of service accounts and certificates
  • Experience using APIs and scripting to automate operational tasks (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or similar)
  • Experience with access certification processes, audit evidence preparation, and entitlement governance
  • Experience participating in on‑call rotations and incident management processes

Nice To Haves

  • SailPoint IdentityNow certification(s) or equivalent platform
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, Datadog, or similar) for tenant health and operational dashboards
  • Experience supporting SaaS identity platforms in a shared operations environment
  • Experience with secure credential handling, API key management, and tenant security hardening
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries
  • Experience with additional IAM tools (e.g., Okta) or complementary technologies (DevOps/CI-CD pipelines, BI reporting for access analytics)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous availability and performance of the SailPoint IdentityNow tenant; monitor connectors, aggregations, provisioning, and certification campaigns
  • Triage, diagnose, and remediate production incidents across cloud connectors, virtual appliances, and IQServices; perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement long‑term mitigations
  • Manage and maintain IdentityNow connectors (e.g., SCIM, LDAP, AD, HRIS, SaaS, REST/SOAP), handle onboarding, credential coordination, and schema mappings
  • Maintain provisioning policies, lifecycle workflows, identity profiles, account rules, and transformation logic
  • Operate and support access certification campaigns, produce audit evidence, and assist with SoD enforcement and entitlement governance
  • Manage API keys, service accounts, certificates, and credential storage for connectors, appliances, and IQServices
  • Execute configuration changes through change-control processes; validate changes in non-production tenants where available and perform post-change verification
  • Maintain and update runbooks, playbooks, connector inventories, and technical documentation; lead knowledge transfer and cross‑training
  • Automate routine operational tasks and remediation using scripts and API integrations to reduce manual effort and minimize MTTR
  • Support access certification campaigns, prepare audit evidence, and assist with entitlement governance and SoD enforcement
  • Coordinate escalations and support cases with SailPoint Support and third‑party vendors; liaise with application owners, business stakeholders, and key partners
  • Participate in on‑call rotation and collaborate with the operations team to ensure adequate coverage and redundancy
